For the first time ever, the British Virgin Islands will host an Outdoor Field Archery Championship, bringing together precision, endurance, and skill across Field, Hunter, and Animal rounds — all set against the breathtaking natural terrain of the Caribbean.

The championship, slated for April 10-12, 2026, is being organised by the Virgin Islands Field Archery Federation (VIFAF) and follows on the success of the David Abednego Cup- the VIFAF’s first indoor tournament- in October 2025.

Local archers will take to the shooting range alongside regional and international archers, as the event, designed to test accuracy, judgment, and consistency, is open to elite and developing archers alike.

The Outdoor Field Archery Championship will follow the rules and style of the International Field Archery Association (IFAA) Outdoor Field Championship
