Collegiate athlete Kaelyaah Liburd has secured a place at the World Athletics Indoor Championships 2026, which will take place from March 20 to 22, 2026, in Kujawy Pomorze, Poland.
Liburd, representing Florida State University, secured the qualification for the Women’s 400m when she competed at the Orange and Purple Invitational at Clemson University in South Carolina on Friday, January 23, 2026.
The Virgin Islander and National 400m Record Holder clocked 51.68s for second place. Most importantly, Liburd did enough to achieve the enviable honour of representing the British Virgin Islands at the upcoming World Indoors.
